What is Travel Insurance

This policy provides 24hrs protection to the insured against accidental injuries and loss of checked-in baggage while traveling anywhere in the world.

Medical Expenses  – Cover provided for medical expenses related to illness or injury, including hospital and doctor’s costs, prescription medication, surgery, evacuation, and repatriation.

Personal Accident Insurance – Capital sums paid in the event of death or permanent total disability following an accident. Medical expenses following an accident are covered under the Medical section.

Personal Liability – If you become legally liable for accidental death, bodily injury, or illness of any person or loss or damage to property we will pay for claims made against you. We exclude liability from you being in control of a mechanically propelled vehicle.

Cancellation Insurance – Cover for non-refundable payments if you have to cancel your journey as a result of illness, injury, or death. Instructions to cancel the policy must be communicated to Geminia Insurance at least a day before the date of travel. Otherwise, no refund premium will be allowed.

Curtailment Insurance – Cover for non-refundable and additional payments incurred to return home as a result of illness, injury, or death. *Subject to terms, conditions, and exclusions of the policy wording

Travel insurance will only cover you during the specific trip that you will be making and a different cover has to be taken each and every time that you will be travelling to a new destination.

When do I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance will be taken before one travel and it can not be taken once the insured has reached their destination.
